4 Signs You May Need Heel Pain Treatment

If your heels hurt regularly, it’s time to listen to your body. Here are four signs it’s time to seek treatment:

Sharp Pain When You First Stand Up

Sudden, stabbing pain in the heel when you get out of bed or stand after sitting.

Pain That Worsens With Activity

Discomfort increases during or after walking, running, or standing for long periods.

Swelling or Tenderness in the Heel

Visible inflammation or sensitivity to the touch at the bottom or back of your heel.

No Improvement With Rest

Pain continues or returns, even after trying rest, ice, or over-the-counter remedies.

You Deserve to Walk Without Heel Pain

Heel pain can interfere with every step you take—but it doesn’t have to. At Christie Foot & Ankle, we combine advanced care with personal attention to help you find fast, lasting relief. You deserve to feel better, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

What our Patients Are Saying

Emily M

“Dr. Christie was wonderful during the worst cellulitis infection I’ve ever experienced. He was able to come in to Elliot in Manchester while I was there and go over how we were gonna tackle it. The incision and drainage was done perfectly and I was able to heal within a few weeks! I owe a lot to him for his expertise and time in helping me overcome this difficult health issue. Highly recommend!”

Maria D

“Dr Christie is a 5* Doctor. You will be warmly welcomed at the front desk. From setting our 1st appointment through every step following, this practice is outstanding. My son has had issues for years with his flat feet. We have been to other specialists prior to moving to NH and none compare to Dr. Christie. He has a heart of gold and is wonderful. The office is clean and professional and you will feel right at home the moment you arrive. Setting follow up appointments is easy too! Thank you Dr. Christie for the care for our son.”

Ellen C

“Phenomenal experience! Got an appointment 3 days from my phone call! As a new patient seeing a specialist for the first time, that in itself was a miracle! Dr. Christie and his secretary were very kind and understanding! The doctor removed a painful corn from my toe in minutes!
I will be using this practice from now on for all my foot care needs! Thank you for helping me!”
